Outrider, a developer of autonomous yard operations for logistics hubs, announced that it raised $73 million in Series C financing.

Using its autonomous yard tractors, Outrider can control 28-foot, 48-foot or 53-foot dry or refrigerated vans through their full range of motion without teleoperation or human interaction.

Robotics investments slowed somewhat in October 2020, but transportation, healthcare, and software remained strong.
