The TH-A Series of Scara Robots from Toshiba Machine Co. of America consists of three models: the TH650A, the TH850A, and the TH1050A. Compared to previous models, their cycle time has been improved by 20 to 30 percent(with higher payloads).

Standard cycle times are 0.31s with a 2Kg payload for the TH650A, and 0.39s with a 5Kg payload for the TH850A and the TH1050A. Positioning repeatability for the X, Y and Z axes, including all three models, is +/- 0.01 mm., and C-Axis positioning repeatability is +/- 0.004 degrees.

The TH-A Series operates with no vibration. Piping positions are flexible, and may easily be changed by the end-user. In addition, two harnesses are in the robot arm, so it is easy to replace them.

The robots include a full-function TS Controller. It is easy to operate and can control a maximum of five axes simutaneously. It includes a built-in PLC, a multitask function and more.
